Overview
I spent two semesters working with Professor Bruce Land on a CS 490 project to write Java applets that demonstrate CS417/CS418 concepts interactively.
The goal as I understood it was to enable a greater understanding of the concepts covered by the course through the use of interactive demonstrations of the various concepts.
I worked with Margaret Corbit of the Cornell Theory Center on the Interactive Explorer applet.
Applets
(In no particular order.)
Because of the lack of Java 1.1 support by web browsers, all applets are Java 1.0.
Comments
The quality of Java implementations, while much better than in the past, is still not perfect.
Often different implementations from the same vendor differ vastly in quality.
So if things don't seem to be working, please try a different browser - I assure you the applets do work somewhere.
However, there may be things I have missed: if you find any problems with an applet or have a suggestion, please mail me.
