  1. Download and simulate the two oscillator circuit model. Module U1 gates module U3 on and off using the Burst_duration signal. The R1, R2, C1 circuit sets the rate and duty cycle of the gate signal to U3. R3, R4 and C2 set the frequency at which U3 oscillates. The overall effect is to produce a series of bursts of pulses. Plot burst_duration and pulse_burst_out waveforms while you vary the oscillator rates. Remove D1 and notice the result.
  2. Design a circuit which produces a 10 milliscecond pulse, once per second. You will need only one oscillator. You will need this circuit in lab 4 to build a pacemaker for your heart model.
