For The Future

Several of our original ideas are simply not feasible on a class project budget.  For example, it would be really cool to make a watch to display our weather data, however, to make a tiny receiver and LCD screen run on a watch battery is something that we did not have the funds nor the time to attempt.  Also, our results would probably be more accurate with a better anemometer, perhaps more aerodynamic, or made from better materials.

Perhaps with more time, we could have tested our wind speed measurements against a known wind speed.  This would have allowed us to fine tune our speed calculation algorithm, since we expect it does not scale linearly.  We think the best way to refine our algorithm is through trial and error, since any calculations would be highly dependent on the exact shape of our anemometer, and the friction qualities of our bearings.
