Early March - Researched the project and ordered the neccessary
parts from Digikey and Arrow Electronics. |

Late March - Parts have arrived. |
|
Spring Break - Completed building the decoder circuit as well as
soldered all the connectors for the CD-ROM drive. Soldering the various
chips onto prototyping adapters was also done. |

April |
| 10 - Built decoder circuit. |
| 15 - Successfully played a 5
sec MP3 clip from flash. |
| 20 - Completed CD-ROM interface. |
| 25 - Converted to Xmodem instead of CD-ROM based file transfer
because of bugs in CD-ROM interface. |

28 - Successful buffering and playback of a downsampled MP3. |
|
31 - Improved buffering algorithm. Started writing this website. |
