Bass Boost Amplifier Circuit to Drive Subwoofer

In order to drive our subwoofer, we needed to construct an audio amplifier. The LM386 audio amplifier provides an enormous amount of power and gain for a very reasonable monetary cost and build time. The circuit shown below is the combination of two designs taken from the LM386's datasheet to make a bassboost amplifier with a gain of 200. The additional gain of 200 can be turned on or off by taking the 10 uF capacitor out of the circuit.
