Introduction
The goal of this project was to build a quick-and-dirty interface which would turn on a Sony video camera when a motion detector saw an animal moving. The camera dynamics requires that power be applied first, then about a second later the record button needs to be pressed. The motion detector relay applied camera power. The following circuit waits a second, then supplies a one second switch closure to the remote control. The record button on the remote was directly connected to this circuit.
