Any student that has been at Cornell for more than a few weeks will tell you that the weather in Upstate New York very volatile. Weeks with snow one day and with sun and 80 degree temperatures the next are not out of the ordinary. We wanted to build a project that not only showed the current weather statistics but allowed the user to collect and store data over extended, settable intervals of time. The data can be graphed or easily viewed, while also storing record maximum/minimums. Calculations of dewpoint and barometric pressure rise/fall allow for some minimal forecasting as well.
