EOD Simulator

High Level Design

The user interface for the simulator is a GUI created with the MatLab GUI controls. Each control button calls a subroutine within the program when pressed. Version 2 of the simulator is capable of visualizing two separate waveforms and their associated SPIs. The text information for each wave/SPI is highlighted in green on a line below the graphs. Additionally, a large red ERROR bar is located in the middle of the interface to give feedback to the user when necessary.

The interface is designed to give the end-user a bit more realtime control over the output of the sound. Sound files are created as WAV files and are played asynchronously. This innovation allows the addition of a STOP button, so the sound can be stopped and started at will.
