Introduction

This project is a distributed home audio control system. It allows multiple users to control the audio equipment they already own from several locations within a dwelling. The unit is comprised of a base unit which controls the audio equipment using infared signals and multiple satellite stations. These connect to the base until and allow the user to remotely control the system. The unit can use UART to connect to a user’s PC to control Winamp.
