Conclusion

In the end, we successfully completed our spy-robot project. I don’t want to say we would do things differently next time, because every minute spent on this project was a great learning experience, and we always made progress, no matter how small it might have seemed. We spent about three weeks debugging I2C and the various functions that came with the VL53L1X library. As mentioned before, there were a lot of extensions that could have been possible on this project, but if we had split up to tackle different facets, we each would have learned less, and debugging for every issue would have been nearly impossible. By working together for the difficult programming in C, and splitting up to work on the Python processing, we were able to maximize our resources.
